Click System Tree.
From System Tree, select the group that the computer to be managed resides in.
Click the Systems tab and select the computer(s) to manage.
Click the Client Tasks tab and select one of the following:
The task to be managed
Under the Actions column, click Edit Settings for the required task.
Configure the required setting changes from the Configuration, Schedule and Summary tabs.
Click Save.
New Task
Click Actions, New Task.
Specify a name for the task.
Select Product Deployment to the left of Type.
Click Next.
From the Configuration tab, select the following options and click Next:
Windows is selected for Target platforms
VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0.570 for Product and components
NOTE: Verify Install is selected for the Action.
From the Schedule tab, select the desired scheduling options and click Next.
From the Summary tab, review the settings.
Click Save.
Click the Systems tab and select the computers which will have VSE 8.7i pushed to them.
Click Actions, Agent, Wake Up Agents.
Leave the defaults selected and click OK.
From the Systems tab, select one computer that had VSE 8.7i pushed to it.
NOTE: Only one computer agent log file can be displayed at a time.
Click Actions, Agent, Show Agent Log.
If the VSE 8.7i package was delivered and installed successfully, the agent log file for the computers will display the following:
NOTE: Hold down Ctrl + F in the agent log file to display a search window to find the following entries.
